Feeling Disconnected?

Hey Everyone,

I just got back from a nice walk and some fresh air. As I walked I realized I've been a little "disconnected" the past few days -- hence the lack of blog posts for all my big fans out there :-). I've been fighting some sort of flu for the past few weeks (no, not H1N1 but another one that just hurts all over... anyone else feel that?) so I'm not sure if that is the cause of my "disconnected-ness" or if it's something else (maybe I need to de-tach from something?). Don't be alarmed, I am not down in anyway, just not feeling my regular self. Maybe I was too connected the previous weeks... something I like to call "bursting" - When everything in life just seems right and everything seems to roll the right way for you. Life is easy those days. It's when we feel this disconnection from The Universe that it can get a little tougher at times. When times like these come along I have a few things that I really try to focus on and do to try and bring myself back to where I want to be. Here is my list of things that help me when I need a boost in the right direction. Hopefully they may assist some of you also.

Please, please, please leave any other suggestions in the comments for this post so we can gather a good list of things to get us back on track when we are feeling a little disconnected or uninspired :-)

  • Yoga
  • Meditation
  • Music
  • Walking (in nature especially)
  • Hanging with loved ones and friends
  • Or sometimes being alone
  • Kids and animals
  • Breathe and stay positive
