Family appreciation...
Hey Everyone,
It's Saturday morning and I'm a little lost this weekend. Not in a serious lost sort of way but all my family that lives here in the same city with me are gone away this weekend... Should I be worried? Maybe I did something wrong?? haha! Not quite, I don't think anyway... my mother and step-father (Eric) are off to Arizona to watch Brett Favre and the Vikings take on the Arizona Cardinals this weekend. My mother is a HUGE Favre fan so she is pretty excited to see him play... again... She goes to see him every year since it's his "last year" of football but then he un-retires and they have to do it all over again. Her closet is also getting stacked full of Favre jerseys since he keeps changing teams every year, but that's a story for another post :-) She loves him, and will be happy to see him play and that's all that matters. The other part of my family that lives here is also gone this weekend. My brothers family is off to Halifax to visit with our father and some of their friends... So, here I am lost without my family this weekend, other than the beautiful critters I am taking care of at the house for them (Louie, Neveah and Sydney). It got me thinking this morning about how lucky I am to have such a great family and that I actually do really miss them when they aren't around (thank goodness for text messaging, I haven't left them alone this morning lol) I've been so lucky to have great support from them through the years (and still to this day) and I really don't know what I would do without them. It's crazy to imagine that we also have so much fun together! We always have good laughs (usually at each other) and we all have a lot in common so it's always easy to find something interesting to do. I love them, I'm grateful for them and I really do miss them today and this weekend! I hope everyone is as lucky as me to have a fantastic family! Oh and since I have Brett Favre in my fantasy pool and my mother loves him so much I hope he has a career game in Arizona this weekend! Go Brett!Cheers,
Adrian
